Welcome to Property Basics – PROP101. Sandia's Prime Contract requires all Sandia employees or contract associates, to correctly utilize government property. PROP101 will give you the information, references, and contacts to manage your property correctly.
It is a regulatory requirement that Sandia track property. The benefit to you is when you need a piece of property to complete work you can locate the item. The right property in the right place at the right time means you can perform your work and not spend unnecessary time trying to locate a piece of property, or, worst case, re-buying and wasting government resources.
Ever looked for property at inventory or accountability statement time?
If you understand and implement the Property Basics, you won't be wasting any time when inventory and accountability statements roll around. You'll be able to quickly account for your property and get back to your work. PROP101 lists resources that are available to help you and provides you with contacts to call for assistance.
All employees are required to successfully complete this training and may charge up to 15 minutes to TRC290 for the time spent taking the training.
