Welcome to Occupational Noise (NSE100) online training. According to OSHA, one of the leading job-related health problems in the United States is hearing loss. Permanent hearing loss can occur from repeated exposure to loud noise. Damage can be prevented by wearing proper protection. Style, fit, and comfort over extended periods are important when selecting hearing protection.
The goal of this course is to review the risks of hearing loss, review methods of preventing hearing loss, and where to get more information regarding Sandia's Hearing Conservation Program.
