Welcome to MCH200 – General Safety Principles for Using Hand & Power Tools.
All Sandia National Laboratories Members of the Workforce (MOW) authorized to operate hand and power tools.

This Course covers General Safety Principles for using most Hand & Power Tools. Examples of safety principles, specific hand and power tools, and rules for safe use are provided in video clips. Each module includes a test that must be completed before the next module can be started. There is no end of course test, however, there are Knowledge Check questions at the end of each module which must be answered correctly in order to proceed.
Note that this course contains multiple short videos, so make sure you have your speakers turned on or your headphones on with the volume turned up loud enough to hear the audio. Use Firefox or Chrome to take this course.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to identify the general safety principles for using most hand and power tools.
